Living in Baltimore is a bummer sometimes because of the lacking animation industry, however it has many upsides. One of my new favorite things about baltimore is how easy it is to get fresh local produce. My girlfriend and I found an awesome little produce stand where we have been getting all of our produce from. So it inspired me me to do this nice little number.
Also take a look at this old sketch i did quite some time ago, a 3d artist named simon henry created it in 3d. I may soon make a 3d model out of it.

Hey what's up man! you're stuff is just bananas at this point. and to your question on my blog, it was a give-away sketchcard for the 100th follower. hope all is well man.
I love your sketch. Its great how every thing is uneven and has a wonderful charm about it.
Personally, i think the 3D artist has let you down. All the little wonkey edges and cool angles has been lost. I personally think the 2D design has soooo much more charm about it!!
But hey, full credit to the 3D artist for what he has done, because i cant model a thing in 3D.
Just give me a pencil and im happy. ;)
hes doing a good job actually, if you check out his blog he is working on rendering it out fully and posting various progress shots. it takes a while i guess i certainly havent the slightest idea haha.
Thanks Isaac yeah it is no way near finished and is pretty easy to go back and change the angles, its the rendering that takes time. As for the modelling side of things it is not all sorted, but thank you for your crit Tori Cat!
Hi Simon, I am really sorry. After rereading my comment, it sounds really harsh and i promise it is not meant to be.
I think it is great what you have done, and as i have never modeled in CG i have no idea how difficult it is.
I just personal loved all the sloping wonkey angels etc and felt that wonkey charm that was in the illustration was lost in the CG image.
Please dont be offended tho. It was not meant to be written in a horrible way. Im gunna check out your blog now.
thanks!! Tcat.x
